Instead of an obelisk covered in names, there was a statue of three people: a man with untidy hair and glasses, a woman with long hair and a kind, pretty face, and a baby boy sitting in his mother's arms. Snow lay upon all their heads, like fluffy, white caps ...

:xmas: how odd - kind of looks like a Muggle nativity :) and I like the criss cross wires . . . the whole scene is very evocative :xmas:

sorry, it brought to mind a Nativity, the drawing itself does not 'look like a Nativity'

I think I understood what you meant to say ! ... you're quite right, it didn't occur to me - but it is indeed the visualisation of "a saviour born", isn't it? suppose it fits ... ;)
Wow! Such a moving scene! (One of the best scenes in the whole book, im my opinion.) Marvelous depiction of this event.

That is SO beautiful! I love how you drew the sky--you didn't just leave it blank. This is by far my favorite illustration of this scene. Great job! :D
OMG it`s sooo impressive!! The details and the towering statues!!! WOW!!!
